The objective is to make a photograph more interesting than what was photographed. That always begins with light, color and texture. Add a little form and, if the result tickles your brain, the result is a photography. A painting, if you will, made with a camera lens. The outcome is a wide variety of subjects, often simple, sometimes aged and occasionally even unrecognizable. Many are from nature but architecture and other man-made objects are also common.
